Ingredients:
- 4-6 thin slices raw ginger
- 3-4 cups of water
- 3-5 gms of black tea or oolong
- 1-2 tablespoon honey or brown sugar.
Direction:
Peel the ginger and slice thinly to maximise the surface area. This will help you to make a very flavourful ginger tea.
Boil the ginger in water with the Tea Leaves of you choice for at least 10 minutes. For a stronger tea, allow to boil for 20 minutes or more, and use more slices of ginger.
Remove the ginger and tea leaves from water and add honey or lemon juice to taste.
