• About Pu erh Tea: The tea is renowned for its medicinal qualities. Unlike other teas, Pu erh's quality and taste improve with age. Its taste is often described as earthy but some very well aged Pu erh produce cups of incredibly smooth and wonderfully complex.


• Product description: A new recipe developed in 2005, draws from 65 years of experience in tea production, continue the philosophy of innovation and perfection to bring another high quality Pu erh to customers. Dayi Puer cake was awarded "Gold Medal" in the 3rd China International Tea Fair in 2006. The tea brews bright red liquor, gives a sweet and aromatic taste. Excellent for drinking immediately or even better to put away for aging.


• Health benefits: The Puer Cake is purported to reduce blood cholesterol. It is also widely believed in Chinese cultures to counteract the unpleasant effects of heavy alcohol consumption. In traditional Chinese medicine, the tea is believed to invigorate the spleen and the stomach. It also contributes to weight loss.


• Tea Storage: Keep the tea in a cool and dry place, sunlight will help to mature the tea. The longer it is stored the better the flavour and the more valuable it becomes!


• Tea Brewing: We recommend using purple clay tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Take 3-5gms tea leaves off from the puer cake, an then put into a tea pot. Fill with boiling water and drain the water immediately to wash the leaves. Fill with hot water (90 degrees or over) again to brew for 1-2 minutes, Then serve.
