Type of Chinese Tea: White Tea
- Origin: Fuding, Fujian Province, China.
- Introduction : Silver needle tea is the top grade white tea. It is brightly coloured and covered with tiny white hairs. In early spring the leaves are selected from tea buds which are undamaged and unopened. A special process is used to get the fresh leaves to mature properly with minimal oxidation.
- Taste: Taste is sweet and mellow and has a long and pleasant aftertaste.
- Liquor:The liquor is pale yellow and thick, a sign that the tea comes from a healthy tree.
- Dry leaves appearance: This silver needle tea exhibits a good amount of white fur on a healthy pale green leaf.
- Tea Storage: Keep the tea in a cool and dry place, avoiding direct sunlight.
- Tea Brewing : Put 1-3g of silver needle tea into a teapot. Steep them with mountain spring water or mineral water for two to three minutes, then serve.
