Type of Chinese Tea: Green Tea
- About green tea : The benefits of green tea in a human body are so remarkable that it is believed that the key to a longer and healthier life may just be brewing in your cup! Studies all over the world all come down to one thing and that is, it is an inexpensive wonder drink with a long range of health benefits no one can ignore. One of the main reasons that green tea is so beneficial to our body is that green tea is made from unfermented leaves and reportedly contains the highest concentration of powerful antioxidants called polyphenols. Antioxidants are substances that scavenge free radicals -- damaging compounds that ultimately result in all kinds of adverse effects on our body.
- Origin: Fuding City, Fujian Province, China.
- Dry leaves appearance: This loose leaf green tea is a famous tea and is also known as Biluochun in China. The tea leaf is tiny and fine, which are tightly shaped and rolled into curly form. The whole leaves are full of fine white hairs. Pale green colour appears under the white.

- Taste: Freshness is the first impression. It shows a slight citrus hint at the beginning that followed by a lovely fruity flavour and a sweet aftertaste.
- Liquor: Shinny and “greasy” greenish-yellow liquor has an excellent clarity. Fine hairs are floating on the surface of the liquor. The liquor is smooth and light weighted in the mouth.
- Green tea benefits: Green tea’s many benefits include lowering high blood pressure and cholesterol level, preventing cavities, strengthening tooth enamel, fighting cancer, aiding digestion and are very effective for weight loss. You can do a lot of other things with this wonder drink. Did you also know that the health benefits of green tea are not only confined to drinking but you can also medicate with it? You can even cook with green tea or use the leftover liquor to water your plants, and keep your cat's litter box fresh and pleasant smelling. These powerful benefits cannot be compared to any other substance in the world without a single side effect.
- Tea storage: Keep the Biluochun in a cool and dry place, avoiding direct sunlight.
- Tea brewing : Put 2-3 grams of the loose leaf green tea into a tea pot. Steep for one to two minutes with 80-100 degree water for a healthy and new beverage.
